Our Services

Case Management Services

ROCC for Women provides long-term, trauma-informed case management for women experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. We work alongside women who may also be facing financial disadvantage, family disruption, health challenges or social isolation. We have a strong focus on supporting women who have experienced incarceration or who are transitioning from drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Our team supports each woman to identify and work towards her goals — whether that is safe and stable housing, reconnecting with family, improving wellbeing, accessing education and employment, or rebuilding independence. We walk with women for as long as needed, offering consistent, respectful support.

Correction Visits

ROCC for Women provides regular in-reach support to women incarcerated in Sydney-based correctional centres. We meet with women who were our clients prior to incarceration, as well as women planning to return to the Shoalhaven upon their release.
Our focus is on ensuring women can exit custody into safe, stable housing, with practical pathways to reconnect with community services, family support, health care, and ongoing case management. We believe that every woman deserves a safe foundation and a chance to start again.

Educational, Health and Wellbeing Workshops

We offer a diverse program of workshops designed to build confidence, life skills, health awareness and overall wellbeing. These sessions vary throughout the year and may include:
  • Healthy eating on a budget
  • Yoga, meditation and mindfulness
  • Art therapy, craft and jewellery making
  • Cultural activities and community connection
  • Job-readiness skills, resume building and digital literacy
  • Health education sessions such as vaping awareness, sexual health, women’s health, and alcohol and other drug (AOD) information
  • These workshops create safe, supportive spaces where women can learn, grow and thrive at their own pace.

ROCC for Women acknowledges the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters on which we work, live and support our community. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and honour the knowledge, culture and resilience of First Nations women. We recognise that we work on Yuin Country — land that always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land. Sovereignty has never been ceded.
