About ROCC

ROCC for Women is a Specialist Homelessness Service that provides long term case management for adult women.

Our highly successful service continues to receive funding from the NSW Department of Communities and Justice. In 2021 we received three year funding to provide an intensive case management service to women returning to the Shoalhaven after leaving prison or drug and alcohol rehabilitation, or who are connected with the Justice System and for women whose tenancy is at risk.

Priority is given to women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and who have limited family or community support.

Our small, dedicated, committed and energetic team continue to make positive contributions to the lives of some of the most vulnerable women in our community. Being trauma informed, our work recognises that most of our clients have a history of serious trauma which impacts their capacity to move forward.

ROCC for Women embrace all cultural and religious backgrounds, inclusive of sexual identity, financial and social status and respects individuality, diversity, dignity, privacy and confidentiality.

We offer individual case management and group programs designed to enhance social reintegration and build capacity, skills, positive sustainable outcomes and healthy connections. We also provide support to attend court or parole, reconnect with community or family, secure or keep tenancies, attend appointments and connect to training and education. We are also a registered provider for the Work Development Order program with State Revenue.

Our work is enhanced by our network of supportive partners, excellent service and operational supports, and targeted referral pathways to deliver focused and appropriate outcomes for our clients. We are very grateful for the communitysupport and donations we receive.

The women we assist receive ongoing casework support tailored to their needs and supplied by the same caseworker for the life of that support.

With the increased governance and complexity of service delivery we developed a 3 year Strategic Plan (2022-2025) that lead to a redefined focus including a fresh branding and this new website.

ROCC for Women acknowledges Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people as the Traditional Custodians of the land and water we live and work on. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.
