Sophie Ray

Chair

Sophie is an experienced Board Chair, Non Executive-Director and business owner. She has chaired and sat on Boards of Not for Profit, ASX listed and private companies, in diverse sectors including law, agriculture, manufacturing, retail & wholesale, early childhood, education & training and social & welfare support. Her executive career included fifteen years as a corporate lawyer at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Australia & the UK, where she led teams specialising in competition and consumer law. Sophie has lived and/or worked in the UK, China, France, Uganda and Sydney, and since 2007, has lived in the Shoalhaven, where she and her husband own and run a hospitality business. Sophie is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a graduate of Women on Boards' ASX program and a member of Women on Boards.
