Understanding My Emotions - a group for women 

Group Leaders 

The course is led by Anglicare counsellors who have extensive experience in working with women in counselling and small groups.

Groups are run at Anglicare’s premises at 61 North Street, Nowra. 

Four sessions are run on a fortnightly basis on Wednesdays 9.30am – 12.30pm.

For women who want to understand more about emotions – and the effects they have on all of us.

About this course 

Emotions are part of everyone’s life! Understanding and managing emotions is an important skill for building healthier relationships at home and at work. 

As a member of a small group in a relaxed environment you will have the opportunity to explore: 

the part emotions play in our lives 

how events can trigger different feelings for each of us 

how emotions can influence our actions 

how the expression of our emotions can impact our important relationships 

understanding anger and grief responses.
